I just walked to the gym to try and play some basketball, and the two out of the three courts were taken by volleyball, and the last was taken by cricket. F****** volleyball and cricket...

I once half played cricket with a group too small to play---and not knowing too many rules, it was, hm, mostly just muddy and wet. **Eats a banana**

And as spectators., I think there are just two sports more dull to watch than cricket - golf and darts.

Oddly enough I quite like watching poker (when you can see the competitors hands - I really don't think I could be in the audience rather than in front of a TV).

Knowing the guy's hand does make it a bit more interesting seeing him bluff people out or coax them into betting against them. However I still find watching it long term kind of dull. Like pool it's something I enjoy when I'm playing but not so much watching.
