Skoffin, too lazy to post wrote:I think that god was Skittles, and listening wouldn't be a good idea as Skittles is angreh at Neut isn't he? :P

Will reread soon on the SL business, else I don't really see a reason to lynch Neut either.

To comment on the accusations against me: I can see how it's suspicious to vote for a possible cop, but I think I stated my reasons for it very clearly. There have been two nights where AD could've gotten an investigation, but the first night he claims he had some RL issues going on and wasn't paying attention to the game and the second night he was blocked. He could be telling the truth, but they are two very easy excuses to make up. That was my main argument against AD. The part where I said he would be useless anyway if he got blocked every night was not my argument to vote for him. It was merely a best worst case scenario.

The general consensus seems to be that AD is telling the truth though, which makes me think there was some kind of clue in his role-claim that people could link to their own role, but I didn't see. I'll take your word for it and drop my accusations. Unvote AD.

In response to the divine message: I don't see why the gods are even trying to convince us this way. If they pay god-points to speak to us like in Althakla, then they are really wasting them this way. The message definately doesn't clear Neut of any suspicion, but it doesn't add any suspicion either. I'm simply going to ignore it.

I don't know about that SL. I considered all my proclamations in Akhatla to be points well spent 8) (although after each one I had to put up with a Exile scolding me for talking instead of smiting  ).

I really think we are down to two lynches today... Spin or SL...

At least Sierra Leon is playing... Spin said he's just gonna disappear after he already was very inactive.

I believe if his role had been an important one, then he would have tried harder. I also believe that if he is mafia, then this would be a great tactic.

So, I believe that lynching him is the best choice.

Well, I believed Spin was the best option on the previous day, and it looks like he will keep being a submarining scum.

Dude, it takes 10 to lynch. Wouldn't it be better to prod all the players who haven't post in more then two days?

Pseudo-roleclaims abound, it seems.

Ahh well, I have no reason to distrust Nag (as of yet... ) so I'll just stay right where I am.

Here comes the "OMG there's a deadline we'd better lynch someone quickly!"-bandwagon. *sigh*

72 hours = 3 days = still plenty of time to get a decent lynch. I have absolutely nothing useful to do for the next hour, so I'll look over the thread again to find some actual clues as to who might be scum.

Pff, the gods are useful as ever, I see. Anyhow, after reading back I didn't find as many clues as I was hoping for. Checking the alive-list, there's not just spin submarining his way through this, but also fircoal, skoffin and kwanton. However, a theory popped into my head when I was re-reading this day - with Mandy's claim and firth's investigation on him.

What if the scum consist of the four horsemen like Mandy said, but there are in fact no horse-hunters in this game?

I'm thinking that Mandy might be scum, claiming he role he knows won't be counter-claimed because it simply doesn't exist. I have several reasons to believe this.

1) I have seen no clues that there are other horse-hunters like he claims there are. I'll admit that they have had no reason to claim yet, but it's not helping Mandy's case any.

2) The role would be very unbalanced and he admitted this himself.
mandalorian2298 wrote:[...]
During the re-reading I decided that my task is kind of hard. It's basicaly finding 1 guy out of 30. So, there could be some kind of a hint in it for me. Like a post restriction. Assuming that this is so, here is my theory on who might be the Red Horse of Apocalypse (War):
[...]

3) He's repeatedly claimed to be 3rd-party (even recruitable), but now suddenly claims he's pro-god. (or did you claim this was a neutral role, Mandy? you weren't very clear about that)
mandalorian2298 wrote:[...]
Personaly, I have a problem with neither lying nor hypocrasy if it serves a purpose. And since I am not a member of an game-winning mayority, yet 8) (or the game would end and I would be posting things like "Go side x! \:D/" instead of explaining the basic truths of our current conditions), it is reasonable to assume that I am going to lie, manipulate (and hopefully get away with it  ) during the course of the game. Person who would claim otherwise at this point would be - lying.

I have no intention of joining a bunch of satanists atheists and (in a minority of cases) legitimate pro-God-lings in their prayers and hymns. If you want to lynch me for that, be my guest. But, bare in mind, you might be weakening your own side (on the other hand, you may be eligable for CNN's Play-of-the-Day  ).
[...]

4) Why would firth's investigation on Mandy fail? The role he described is not so powerful that it would be immume to investigations. A day-roleblocker is just as unlikely. This makes me think he might even be the Anti-Christ himself.
firth4eva wrote:Sorry AD I already used my investigation. I investigated mandy and for some reason I didn't get my result back .I got a pm from jnd saying "for some reason you don't get the investigation result through".

I have no idea why

5) Mandy's been acting scummy all game, but it's been ignored after phrases like "That's just mandy being mandy". He voted for the confirmed day cop after a god said we should and later voted freezie when a god said we should. He's been using these messages as excuses to try and start bandwagons.

I'm very curious to hear your thoughts about this, and ofcourse what Mandy has to say about this himself.

Did you find anything on anyone else during your re-read?

Honestly said, arguments of SL about mandy make more sense to me rather than arguments against SL. I'll read the thread once again this evening.
