I hate NBC. It's the god damn conference finals and you're still showing the games on some obscure channel that I don't get at school instead of on NBC which is showing the fourteen billionth installment of America's Got a Giant Cock in Their Ass.

f*ck I wish ESPN had rights to hockey

I was in Minneapolis last week to watch the Jays-Twins and watched ESPN Sportscentre to try and find some hockey info. Nothing. It made me sad.

Yea, hockey definitely takes a backseat, especially now that basketball playoffs are going on.

It's sad...I watch this show called Sportsnation which is on ESPN2 daily and essentiallly it just polls its viewers (which I assume there are a lot of considering it's had the 5oclock slot for a while) and more people were excited for the first month of baseball than for the hockey playoffs.

I mean, baseball is cool and all, but nothing beats playoff hockey.

Go to a sports bar or watch the Cup Playoffs online.

Josh Hamilton had an amazing week, but
no way does that trump the NHL Playoffs.

The LA Kings and their "average" goaltender Quick
have had a couple of amazing weeks already.

I don't think the Rangers will be able to challenge the Kings if they move on. They seem to have such trouble scoring especially when they need to. Brodeur might not be what he used to be, but he's still good enough and the Devils offense is skilled enough to win the Cup.

12-2 after Three Rounds against the top 3 seeds in the west is impressive.
The San Antonio Spurs are 8-0 in the NBA playoffs so far.

Depressing when people would rather watch May baseball than playoff hockey.

Not to rip on baseball (which, along with hockey, I played since I was 4) but it's not even close in comparison.

That's absurd that the Stanley Cup isn't on in a Sports Bar.

Yea but they're in the second best division in the league so they probably won't last.

We'll see by the end of this week when they've played ATL on the road.

Much to my dismay. Though I still think Callahan's goal was a kick.

I love how Ranger fans do their cute little "Marty" chant. Once Lundqvist gets a third of the championships Brodeur has, I'll let you do your chant.

f*ck. Missed the game winning goal...was watching Inglorious Basterds.

Anyway, should be a great series. I'll take the Kings in 7.

If LA still has their Mojo working now that AoG has cursed them
they won't need seven games.

Devils. I remember a few years ago, when my Senators steamrolled through the first three rounds, only to meet the Ducks in the finals. When they faced the ducks and faced some adversity for the first time, they folded. I can see that happening with the Kings. It has been too easy for them. The Devils have battled hard, so they will know how to adjust. Not sure if the Kings will.

I couldn't watch most of the game because I was watching the Heat game but luckily I changed the channel literally 30 seconds before the winning goal. It's absolutely inexplicable how Kopitar got a breakaway on that...but what a move he pulled on Brodeur especially considering he didn't have much space with the defender coming in.

I didn't see the goal, either, but I haven't any doubt that it would have had to have been spectacular. ;)

Really, the results came as little surprise to me, for the Devils have lost the first game in each series except against the Panthers. I expected it to occur, again. The Devils will win in 6, as they can adapt and will adapt. They were hammering the Kings in the 3rd, and they survived the Kings' worst in the first period. They'll grind down, improve the forecheck and smash the Kings (though, of course, they will lose two).

I'm cheering for the devils, hate the kings and hate the sutters.

GO DEVILS! I'll take them in 5, 6 or 7 as long as they win!
