Re: the longest thread, thread - Occasionally NSFW

Post by UCAbears »

Today I went for a walk around the lake beside my fathers house. It was a beautiful day and I could tell I really needed to get some sunshine on my luscious lockes, so I left my hat sitting on my nightstand. Although today seemed like a normal, ordinary day, it was far from it. As I began my trek along the edge of the small body of water, I noticed a man standing about 150 yards directly in front of me, waving a what looked to be some sort of small branch or small stick. I waved to the man, wondering to myself what he was doing in my waters. He didn't wave back, but instead just stood there looking like Donald Trump stumbling to find words to debate with. I thought this was odd, but maybe he didn't see me, so waved a little larger and yelled "Can I help you, sir?" He stood still for a quick second, as if he couldn't speak English, and sprinted towards me, still holding the branch/stick thing. "Can I help you!?" I yelled a little louder, anticipating a response, but it was to no avail. He was high-tailing it directly towards me now, hurdling bushes and smashing weeds as he galloped..

To be continued...

The Godfather pt. 3
Direct to video Disney sequels.
The 3rd Mummy Movie.

Star Wars Episode 1& 2.

I never really cared for the first Anchorman to be honest. Other than the fight scene.

Technically, those are prequels. Though the lightsaber fight between Qui Gon, Obi Wan, and Darth Maul was pretty awesome.

On another note, over 60 years old, but still hilarious!

Sorry thought I had mentioned that prequels are fair game.

Well, there generally are exceptions to every rule.

All of their stuff is funny? I find that hard to believe, but there isn't a website that stores all the non-funny jokes they did. Sometimes I wonder why we even have an internet.

I love Star Wars II. It's my favorite in the series.

Also, the Rocky sequels and Highlander II.

Well, the Mummy Returns was an enjoyable movie. The Scorpion King was okay in it's own right. After those though, that franchise stunk it up. The third Mummy movie sucked and The Scorpion King movies after the first one didn't even keep the same lead actors for the main roles.

On a (hopefully) brighter note, rumor has it that Mel Brooks is looking to make Space Balls 2: The Search for More Money. Nothing set in stone, but the rumor is out there.

And how many people can spot the Wizard of Oz parody scene in the original film?

The entire scene, actually. From the moment they begin walking down the hall. You have Barf as the Cowardly Lion, Lone Star as the Scarecrow, Princess Vespa as Dorothy, and Dot Matrix as the Tin Man. Had to actually point that out to several people before.

Goddamnit! So I was writing a song on my banjo, it was sounding pretty good, had a nice picking pattern, then I realized I had subconsciously copied Townes Van Zandt's "Waiting Around to Die," which I had posted in the music thread months ago. In the same key and everything. f*ck!
