Here are my thoughts. I know I didn't attempt the kill last night, and IB has been blocked.

So that leaves 2 scenarios either a) I blocked pcm's kill attempt or b) DJ didn't submit a kill last night, both of these are possible.

IB thoughts? and pcm + DJ for that matter.

OK...once again I am confused. All three of us are now blocked? You make it sound like DJ was not blocked.

I need clarity on this...we have been lead to believe he was blocked.

I know I am Doc, which changes nothing from my perspective as to who the last scum is. I also find it highly suspicious how quickly PCM jumped from DJ to me.

I would like to know how PCM is Town because he says so.

I would gladly put my record against his this game. I was one of the first to see through Virus's BS and call him on his scumminess. Granted it was day one but the drawn out focus on both Metsfan and Storr certainly took the focus off of Virus.

From beginning to end James played like scum. Yes PCM was on his ass as well but I still find it odd how we had james all but lynched and then a wagon forms on jonty. I am forced to choose between storr and jonty and PCM is there to hammer.

After the mass claim the idea is brought fourth to let James hammer PCM. It sounded great but did not dawn on me until yesterday Why did James not hammer PCM? He was mafia he was going to die regardless.Why would he pass up a chance to hammer a Town?? What better way to get Town cred then to offer yourself. YET he asked and got itchy when DJ removed his vote so PCM would not get hammered accidentally. He "acted" worried that DJ may be mafia and be saved by the BP vest if he lynched instead of James YET if DJ hammered and was saved with the vest and PCM turned Town BOTH James and DJ would be lynched. James had his excuse for not hammering and basically quit instead of hammering.

You want to lynch me Jonty feel free. I just ask you go through the logs one more time before you lynch. I will be more then happy to hammer PCM and if he is not scum I will take the lynch tomorrow.

One End

Otto Mann was careful. He had waited the whole game waiting for his chance to strike but it would not come. The town was growing restless and he worried that their eyes would go to him. So he turned their attention elsewhere and lynch after lynch, he evaded them. Sometimes he sold out his own teammates but that was unfortunately necessary. Even so as the days drew on, the noose continued to tighten and his words of deceit lessened. Unable to do anything himself and his cunning failing, he took solace in his stash of pot that he smoked in his bus. Unfortunately the town did not care for the smell. Dragging him out, they pushed him through the square and found him guilty and was hung.

Iron Butterfly-Otto Mann-Mafia Busdriver has been lynched.

With the last rays of the mafia gone, the town turned and awaited the return of balance. To this the mafia mod was not entirely willing. He had taken the balance away and had enjoyed the chaos. yet still what good is chaos without order to put it right? And he yielded, returning balance to the city and once again the mafia community rejoiced.

So I will post full roles later. Some notes: It wasn't nearly as unbalanced as it could have been and definitely played out that way. Mafia caught a bit of a bad break losing Virus D1 and Cult targeting mafia night 1 was anti-climactic for the third party group (Fun note: The set up called for 8 town, 1 third party and 3 mafia with the stipends that if third party landed on recruiter, they would be cult. Bulletproof or godfather, they would be SK. All others would be regular third party). I think pretty much every role I had in this game that were unique, I would probably use again some point in the future (possibly with some editing). The Fumigator is the one I would be most cautious about just because it led to such a slow end to the game and I was a bit disappointed that DJ never got to use any of his inventions.

That night, came back to the conclusion that pcm was probably town.
I second guessed streaker, so thats why i didnt use my power on him.
I put it on james, if he was real he would be a real threat to mafia.

was kinda surprised i died. but it was a good shot. Made the attention less on myself, since i probably woulda been lynched other wise. (helped pcm move on in particular as well as spiesr)

GG guys! I really thought we could pull it off and we almost did. The miscues killed us. I threw Virus under the bus for obvious reasons. Storr was on him immediately and you could not argue with the logic of the situation. James played scummy with his scumarining, which could not be ignored but made a nice comeback. His inexperience hurt him but perhaps that was because I knew he was mafia so was sensitive.

Him not hammering killed us in the end I think...but real life seemed to get him so I understand.

I would like to know how the night two actions were resolved because we targeted Spiesr while james targeted PCM for role reveal. I forget who I bused.

I was playing with the belief PCM was third party because all our actions were redirected night two. I really had limited choices in the end as I was boxed in BUT if a few things had gone our way we could have pulled it off. Virus was not able to get his kill off, and james was never able to use his role.

The turning point was Mets reviving jonty, which was the play of the game.

What helped us was the uncertainty of what exactly was in game, was there another mafia or SK for example? The different Town roles helped fog the game up for us as well.

Good job guys. PCM ya done good and had me fooled. The game was way closer then I expected and could have been won by either mafia or cult with better luck. I have played "balanced " games that were 10 times as unbalanced as this. So great job strike for the most balanced unbalanced game I have played in a while.

I obviously couldn't it say it at the time, but this is why I was OK with the jonty lynch; I really did have scum suspicions about James, and my plan that day was that if jonty turned out to be telling the truth, I would revive him, because that roleblocking ability would be key in the end game. I didn't know exactly how it would turn out, but I'm glad to have contributed Nice job mafia too -- if virus hadn't made that "slip," game could have turned out very differently.

absolutely (looking at it now) lynch james cause he claimed role cop and didn't know he got alignment.

i shoulda claimed sooner of course. i had a misunderstanding of my role. I thought it outted who killed said person. after i asked a few more questions, it became very clear my role kinda just sucked. (also surprised neither james/virus bothered to fake claim)

yet its rough being put under that kind of pressure when you wake up. I did seem to convince a few people i was town, and enough that a jonty/james lynch was preferable. I was a bit to concerned pushing the lynch off on one of those 2, rather than figuring which one of those was truly mafia.

Yeah. I am not going to go with an MVP for this game simply because there were more than a few people who whether by luck, skill or a mix of both were pivotal in the victory for town and despite losing, IB did a great job of holding the mafia together. I will second that Metsfanmax's res was key to town victory as well as Jonty's blocks.

And yes, this game could have been a lot worse balance wise. Just think if the mafia had gotten the Enhancer, the Solar Panel and a Night Vig (unlimited shots) all on the same team. WIthout some lucky protects or hitting a bomb, the town would have to lynch the vig by the end of day 2 just to survive to see Day 3.

I am considering slightly more strict activity guidelines for my next game. No one technically fell below posting minimum this game but there were points where posts were very slow and far between and that really was my biggest concern hosting this game is that it would have only taken a little nudge in the wrong direction to send it careening down a bad path. Thankfully it picked up a little again towards the end.

Abilities: Each night you may fumigate one house, the owner of the house will gain a permanent one-shot bulletproof vest at the cost of their night action.

Note for clarity: you cant double up the vest on one player, however if they lose their vest you can give them a second. Once someone loses their vest they get their abilities back.

Like I said, I might use it again in another game but I will consider it carefully. Honestly probably a big reason the game was as balanced as it was. By removing actions, it caused the game to rely more on its set up than its powers and the set up itself wasn't a completely unbalanced number.[/spoiler]
