Sorry about being late...im sick and was sleeping a bit.
Well i think its certainly possible we had a doc who didnt do anything because of the fact that aimless did openly call for someone to protect mando. It would be very difficult for a roleblocker to know who a doc was other than get exceptionally unlucky.
Under teh same vein, its difficult to distinguish with aimless, aimless is certainly good enough at this game that he could put a frame on himself, with the understanding that he called out for a doctor and said if someone killed him he was being framed, hes good enough to do that type of wifom. However its just as likely, and probably more so that someone else is trying to frame him.
But for that to happen it has to be someone who has been fairly active in the thread or at least has followed along....though you cant be sure if an inactive has been reading...much of the thread has been dominated by a little less than half of the game. So if aimless is being framed, its coming from somewhere in there.

hey aimless, i know most of the roles...but what does a janitor do?
also jnd, your going to be much more helpful if you add some of your own content along with agreeing with some other peoples ideas. It becomes difficult to take you as seriously when your total content is lets get people talking and yes i agree with that too.

I agree

What about the possibility that mandy WAS the doctor. As we don't know his role, could be a serious misfortune there. But in that case, if he listened to Aimless he should have cured himself.

im not sure that in many cases a doctor can protect themselves, it is possible to that he might have had some kind of body guard role and was protecting someone else, but it would hard to know this.
Either way i think its fairly likely mando could not have protected himself, since very few roles have that privilige.

If he was a bodyguard, the guy targeting him would have died. Fircoal has said this previously on multiple occasions.
for there to be a sk/vig then either they or the mafia would have had to have been blocked since there was only one death. Im not saying its not possible, we just cant know whether or not anyone with a roleblocker role would be able to pick out a lone shooter on the first night.
This is all very confusing at the moment, everyone and no one could be a suspect as I see it. However, my best hunch for the moment would be to put Aimless on the suspect list. To me it looks like he's trying very hard to clear himself by acting as the victim of being framed.

Personally I'm suspicious of Aimless. He says he wouldn't be that stupid, yet he then goes on to use that as his defence. It could be someone framing him... or it could be him trying to make himself look framed to make him look innocent. The fact that we seem to have an inactive or roleblocked doc is odd. Also, the odds are that by now aimless should have hada mafia role, yet I can't find a game where he was mafia to compare his behaviour. He's not acting the same as normal, which makes me a bit suspicious. Finally, when I'm mafia the first person I usually target is aimless beause he's so skilled at mafia - the fact that he's still alive looks even more scummy.
jnd, the doc should have been reading the thread.
Because I have nothing else to go on, and have decent suspicions of Aimless, I'm going to Vote Aimless.
im not sure to what to think of that exile. I think you do something similar in another game where you were suspicous of IC because he is alive, at least i think that was you. Yes it often makes sense for mafia to kill off good players, but certainly its possible, especially in a game like this where there are a fair amount of players that the mafia didnt think aimless was as big of a threat. Maybe the doc was silly and protected aimless over mando? Im just not sure what to think if you vote someone simply because they remain alive.

It was me, and it does make sense. The scum won't target themselves for obvious reasons, but in the other game it's more or less a day one approach to things. Here not only was the doc asked to protect someone, it appeared not to work.
Do you have an alternative? And the reasoning that Aimless was still alive is not my only reason to vote for him, see other post.
i also dont think that you should vote for someone just cuz they are acting different than other games. Sure, thats important, but if you let it cloud your judgement, you wont make a good choice.
