Another from me on the basis of CoF calling certain members of KORT dishonourable and them disagreeing. Please note that I agree KORT has the right to exercise the 21 game punishment, as that is what we agreed to when we joined the CCup. They also have the right to punish us for the one game that CoF joined past his 20 game limit. The right to exercise the 21 game punishment does not mean that I think it is the honourable thing to do.

A code of honour differs from a legal code, also socially defined and concerned with justice, in that honour is implicit rather than explicit and objectified.

I have it on good authority that many members of KORT decided to choose a 21 game ruling because of what members of TOFU wrote in this forum. They also may have overlooked the 21 game violation until we put in a valid complaint to the administrators. That is the definition of being petty and revenge, and is something that no honourable person would do.

However rules are rules, congrats KORT and also well done to Chuck for sticking to his guns, must have been a hard decision to make.

you missed this quiet easily like myself i just looked at the ops post where it holds the player usage list and is controlled by kort. now i think this 21 game should be stopped and the quiestion brought 2 all clan leaders 2 make a choice of what should happen.

i feel this because when issueing games you go 2 the thread 2 check the player usage (if there is a limit). and kort have not been keeping the thread running properly so all i can say is cof can still play in another 15 games because he has only played in 5.

Don't be ridiculous, I am sure TOFU were keeping tabs of their own number of games per player. Chuck made the rules, and everyone agreed, as harsh as the rule is, it is KORT (and Chucks) decision as to whether all 21 games are forfeited or not. I just feel desperately sorry for CoF as it is an easy mistake for anyone to make. Brutal, but it is the rules and atleast it will never happen again!

As for the thread not being upheld properly, if there are rules that have been broken by that then there should be a punishment. However, I do not believe there is such a rule and as such I am afraid has little place in this 'debate'. Perhaps it wasn't 'running properly', however that is not for us to discuss it is for the leaders of KORT, TOFU and Chuck to decide whether that should have any influence on this ruling. Which I assume, has already been done.

Did you break into our forum? We were actually considering only having 2-3 players play ALL of the games. It was the same insult directed at us from another clan.

If there's going to be a morale problem, I'd venture to say the clan to really look at is Cort. You gotta figure there's a few of 'em who aren't exactly thrilled at the clan's decision.

We are far from demoralized. We always play our best with our backs to the wall, and that is what is going on here, our backs are to the wall to win 31+ games.

Even if they win the challenge, there are already a significant number of people who have lost respect for them so they have really lost either way. That said if it turns out TOFU wins more games than them i don't think they will ever be able to live it down as a clan.

Of course they may not care what other people think of them and they may be ok with winning this way but I personally do not agree with this decision at all.

Yes, there will be another conqueror's cup and I disagree, I don't think I will have trouble getting sign ups. Pretty much every clan has agreed this has been a great competition.

There will be a discussion of the rules and things will be changed as needed before the next one.
