I read it as seven groups of three, thinking holy damn.. this has all the way up to a seventh party..Nebuchadnezer wrote:Three groups of seven...plus one? I hope that doesn't mean seven mafia.
Welcome to day one...anyone else want to skip it?
1. If memory serves this wouldn't be the first time Edoc has made a fake day 1 kill.spiesr wrote:

Going to need some clarification here. Whats this all about?edocsil wrote:Well, that's a novel way to start. Kinda like an ebay bid way, but with casualties.
Daykill Zivel f*ck it, it's a 1 in 20 shot.
Well either Edoc just day killed someone, he's pulling our leg for a knee jerk reaction, or he disguised another action (like a secret vote) with a daykill. The first two are far more likely and we'll just have to see if Pancake does anything about it. At any rate don't just stand around wondering what just happened. It's pretty obvious what it's all about. Edoc just killed someone or he didn't. React as you will. I think he's pulling our leg.Zivel wrote:Going to need some clarification here. I hope so cause I am that person and I am just going to see what pcm says before making any further judgements.sheepofdumb wrote:Well either Edoc just day killed someone, he's pulling our leg for a knee jerk reaction, or he disguised another action (like a secret vote) with a daykill. I already screwed this up...I'm supposed to be watching anarkistsdream...he's clearly scummarining...Nebuchadnezer wrote:virus90 wrote:TA1LGUNN3R thats my horse!
Virus is active and wants tail gunner dead. Edoc should have day killed you while you didn't have a horse...
Lol, nice.strike wolf wrote:5. Lootifer watches Zivel
Just a formality. Don't need to take it seriously yet. Though I would like to point out this possibility. In case of deaths. The person(s) who had been watching the dead person(s) could take over watching the person that they had been watching. This will probably eventually fall apart entirely as people would most likely end up watching each other but by that point, I imagine that we could rethink whether the system would be needed.strike wolf wrote:1. 2.
3. Interesting that something like this would happen so early.
KGB has not yet posted.

Town effectively has 2 lynches:
1 - the regular lynch, with a pool of 20 different players (assuming the daykill is a joke).
2 - the horse lynch, with a pool of 4 different players (virus90, TA1LGUNN3R, Anarkistsdream, HotShot53).
i did think about that, but thought whats the fun in getting it and not passing it through, besides i felt since i got it from the mod i have to pass it on at least once since else its a bit unfair and wanted to see what was happening with it anyway.TA1LGUNN3R wrote:Kicking myself for not thinking of that...

This only works if you cast the hammer vote and pass on the horse in the same post. Therefore you would have to hammer. Therefore this plan won't work if you're the one that gets lynched.Rodion wrote:Cool, I got control and I don't intend to let it go until the final moments of D1 (thank you, Tail!). I agree that it may be a mechanic that was introduced by a role in the game... then again it may be PCM screwing with us. We won't know for sure until either (a) the horse thing doesn't work, or (b) the horse thing happens again tomorrow. Until then, I suggest we treat it as if it would really work.jak111 wrote:Anyway, surprised no one commented on my theory about the horse game. It'd make sense.
#2 only works, assuming you know when the day is going to end...and you would also have to be the hammer to know the person you give it to is lynched before he can give it away.Rodion wrote:Cool, I got control and I don't intend to let it go until the final moments of D1 (thank you, Tail!). I suppose I wasn't concerned with the long term but still dangit, should have considered a train mechanism.jak111 wrote:Just deciding to break down Strike's whole watch thing to see the "groups" so to speak.
Player A > Player B (Watcher > Watch-ee)
1. Strike > KGB007 > Iron Butterfly > Whatsausage > Sheepofdumb > Jonty125 > DoomYoshi > betiko > Jmac > Strike Wolf (9 people)
2. Anarkistdream > Aage > Lootifer > Zivel > Spiesr > TFO > Rodion > Edoc > Virus > Nebuch > Anark (10 people)
10. Jak > Ta1lgunn3r > Hotshot > Jak (3 people)
Hmm, 3 groups and I'm in the group of really 3 people LOL.
But yeah, that's the whole list broken down into the groups. If you wanted to make that BETTER, I'd say Jmac watches Anark, Nebuch watches me and HotShot watches Strike. Then you'd have everyone in a train effect.
Anyway, surprised no one commented on my theory about the horse game. It'd make sense.
As far #2 goes. I would add you in that list. As it stands, the hot potato list is going to draw a lot of town's attention. There is no way to get around that. So I would like to keep the list broad. Second, I am wary of the thought process you are using here. While I think controlling the potato is a good idea, I am worried about what if you were scum and frankly this is the move I would choose if I was scum. It gives you the chance to appear town while shifting the attention to other players. Could it potentially backfire? Well we could choose you as the hot potato but even then you would probably elect to pass it off at the last second though that would make you a fairly quick lynch the next day.Rodion wrote:Cool, I got control and I don't intend to let it go until the final moments of D1 (thank you, Tail!).
