As requested, posting my resignation from this tournament here (seeing as I signed up to the wrong one by mistake!).
That doesn't mean I'll take it easy on the rest of the game I'm in though. Fully intend to try and win that one!
So they are gone and Unai stays?
Yeah, I had to think about it a while, but I think it's logical. ScuD resigned before he won the game, so the elimination doesn't count. If he had won the game first and THEN resigned, I would have let the elimination stand and put in a reserve.
Other eliminations this round are: Darin44 barterer2002 groovysmurf Tin Trumpet farinelli YouOnKazoo b00060
What a bloodbath! Some major tournament organizers and some pretty famous players, gone in Phase 1. On to Phase 2 we go!
The taxi chase from A View To A Kill, right after Mayday paraglides off the Eiffel Tower. If you don't remember this scene, it's worth a watch:

Well with scud resigning in the first game I guess we now have an answer, maybe?
Phase 4 In two different scenes, we learn that Zorin was working for the KGB, but has now gone rogue. In the second of the scenes, we find out that he is the result of steroid experiments conducted by Dr. Carl Mortner, a Nazi scientist who was scooped up by the KGB at the end of WWII.

Many clues lead to San Francisco. Bond is not sure what Zorin is up to, but it is nefarious and San Francisco is the key. Bond goes to California and investigates an offshore oil rig controlled by Zorin, which sets up the obligatory underwater combat scene. In an unusual twist, however, Bond is not a participant in the underwater fight, but a spectator, as a KGB agent trying to blow up the rig is captured and killed by Zorin's men. 4 groups of 6 players. Mishalex has missed multiple invites. Looks like he has left CC. That's the elimination for that game. I'll pop in a reserve into that game just so people can play it out, but the elimination is done and the tournament can carry on. It's too late for a reserve to enter the tournament, but I do like the idea that someone in [game]20671327[/game] will get a chance at a win.

Toonarmy09 has stepped up and joined the game. It has now begun. Mishalex has been eliminated so the game won't result in a new elimination, but it might influence somebody's win/loss percentage so I wanted it to go ahead.

Players eliminated this round include the aforementioned Mishalex, plus jytreberg (eliminated wrong target), Kotaro (normal elimination), and Scarlet Lady.

Having dispensed with the obligatory underwater fight a few scenes ago, we are now ready for the obligatory mining tunnel fight, as Bond attempts to infiltrate Zorin's mines. Everything from fisticuffs to explosions. 4 groups of 4 players. Map: Draknor - Level 1.
Zorin takes Stacy hostage and escapes in an airship, but Bond manages to climb one of the mooring ropes and get on board. 2 groups of 4 players. Map: Steamworks.
