The irony of the term 'boat people' lost on a culture that makes folklore of Captain James Cook's ship 'The Endevour' that triumphantly landed in Botany Bay back in 1770. We are boat people too. But I guess because we had the military power it makes it ok.

Never said it wasn't, I just said that the problem is not as Stone framed it and his idea of a solution will just make things worse.

It wasn't Mexicans that bombed the trade center. But, if we keep up on this track, its possible it WILL be from that direction next time. THAT is why it behooves us to worry about economic conditions below the border.
