3 -- Not electric
4 -- Not edible
5 -- No it doesn't open
6 -- possibly, but not typically used in the kitchen
7 -- No you don't put things on top of it
8 -- Yes it is used for entertainment
9 -- Not a nut cracker
10 - probably would not hurt much if thrown at you
11 - Yes some are plastic
