I wouldn't leave out ga, though. He deserves a lot of credit. Our minds together is quite a fearsome pair. We just told ani what to do.

I wasn't kidding with what I said about cult. I was seriously worried back there that we might lose. After that, they were the perfect distraction.

One more thing: was I not investigation immune?

Face it. Pancake is great and had some amazing tools that turned the tide end game. I should have went with my original gut though.

I was shocked you changed your mind so easily, actually. Considering the lyncher was already gone, I though I was toast. That was just the best thing I had on the spur of the moment. It works well with the balance (or lack thereof ), I suppose.

I actually had toyed with a few fake claims:

Lucario- Gunsmith
Diddy- Tripper (If you got tripped and killed, your action would fail, so if roleblocker got tripped and killed, no one would be blocked)
Falco- Nexusizer (Would make someone else a nexus)

The one I picked payed off, though.

I was debating whether to say yay or nay to investigation immune. But I thought no, since, well, if you did your job and killed CF, you could try to trick people into thinking you weren't scum. I beefed up the town due to multiple mafia..too much.

Meaning if I do another game, one mafia, that's it. And lol PCM, you changed your avi.

Bwahahaha. I'm a bit disappointed to not have finished with the whole team alive, I almost protected Ani the last night because of the way he hammered but figured after avoiding Pancake's lynch for so long might as well not take chances
Anyway, I'm really happy with this win as it feels we had the short end of the stick there

Why would they? I was the anti-cult hero I had my claim ready as Dr Phil, insane doc, but at the end no one ever voted me.

Hahah yeah it was a lot of fun being scum with you. I also wonder why you appeared to Dano as scum, I thought for a bit that his death had turned him insane, could have been cool for that to happen.

Anyway, I agree Cakes' fakeclaim was great. As seen in the setup XG isn't afraid of several lynchers, and an OP nexus lynchee seemed too good to not be true

Now about the setup, well... I'm damn glad it had to be diminished for starters It looks really hard to play. In the actual setup it was hard for any faction to win but at least things couldn't have been hampered by the ton of third parties. Anyway, I recall Pancake and I were discussing about the possibility of a Saulus after discovering the cult, it could have made more sense I think considering Cult had powers close to ours (starting with a doc is a pretty big advantage for a cult) and even if they were able to recruit only 2 roles it was pretty big... Consider that without the lucky Flores lynch Cult could have won without anyone noticing.
I liked the scum scanner role, might have been more useful as a two-shot maybe?
Also I hadn't understood that if dead Pancake could perform the kills as normal. I didn't like much that part for Dano I think they should have at least been able to be blocked, it's bad enough that they could keep acting normal when dead minus talking normally

Ah well it was pretty insane and good fun, GG all and thanks for the game XG, next time take me back as co-mod

Thanks man. I was afraid it would go bad due to the several replacements needed. But Ga7, about the PCM not being able to act normally, I thought I cleared it up here:

Sakurai has promised to put you in the next Smash Bros game, so you will obey whatever he does. As a doctor, you may protect one person each night, be it scum or town.

You win when you overpower the town, confirm in thread.

The cult was a second mafia, that's why there powers were close. After that they different. Cult has the power to recruit, however, once Pichu dies he can no longer do the game speeches, he's out. Sakurai however stays in at full power. Sakurai can kill every night while Roy takes two nights to make a kill, and if Roy dies kills can no longer happen but Sakurai can keep on killing. By that setup, Mafia are much more powerful than town so I had to make the recruits. I was going to make the "Halberd" setup as a buff for cult, but due to reduction that was stripped out.

And I let Dano not be blockable because, well, PCM could exploit him. But damn, I should have kept that Mafia Framer power for Sakurai, I really should have.

And heck yes I want you back as a co-mod. Part of the reason for the slowness was no co-mod. In fact, I have two ideas for another game hidden away.

And BTW, the whole later portion I was rooting for Mafia to win, even though I dislike Brawl. Your play was PERFECT!

The thing I find most comedic about this game is that it played out in the end exactly as it did in the game. With Sakurai getting his way.

But I doubt Dr. Phil will make it in the next SSB, if there is one. :/

I disagree about the MIB part though, towards the end Ani didn't really have someone to block in particular so he could have kept blocking him.

Well, Dano I guess didn't like it, he couldn't do anything because the power of speech wasn't used often, so he couldn't retaliate.

I said no to replacing because it wasn't confirmed if there was another mason partner. I wanted the roleclaim of Ace's mason partner to be available for scum to use. Some mods don't care, I did. I wanted another person to replace, but couldn't get one.

And by framer, I meant Sakurai had that power, not a person on the team. That could have been an awesome buff.

lol, thanks. Also, MiB's plumber power, I was hoping that'd be used. Basically, remember the exploding houses, right? If he watched a vig, or the godfather, then the dead bodies that person has killed would come pouring out. It would have been so hilarious if all the people that PCM killed came flooding out of the toilet.
