Seeing as it is now the norm of the 21st Century to apologise as often as one can, and seeing that so many refuse to do so...you know who you are...I thought a general apologies thread a la General Congrats thread would be a help.
So all and any of you who feel the need to apologise for some infraction, indiscretion, violation, infringement or anything else you feel the need to apologise for that is cc related of course, such as losing like a (nancy boy / harlot / imbecile / retard - delete as appropriate) you can now come to this standard thread and post your apology.
And for those cc members to whom the apology is directed, you can now come to this thread and feel smug and self satisfied (as I often do) whilst reading the toadying, sycophantic, or not, words of apology aimed in your direction.
Normal rules of the thread are only that all posts should include an apology…so in this vein may I humbly apologise for actually having the temerity to start such a hand wringingly obsequious thread in the first place.

I apologize for the general state of affairs with regard, although not limited to, my general personality and abilities (or any observed lack therein). I repent of said non-stated maladies and inabilities that you may or may not perceive, and regret any general (or specific) discomfort I may or may not have caused you, vague individuals I have never met (and never will meet), with regard to whatever it is that bugs you.
I hope this clears things up. In a general but heart felt way and that, perhaps you grab a nap.

I realise that me being on a certain website for hours on end was a completely selfish thing to do.
I therefore promise to cut down to 10 minutes at a time, twice a day.

woodruff would like to apologize to everyone for coming back to cc after leaving cc(because of all of the death threats that he received) after saying that he would never, under any circumstances, come back to cc again.
So for the SECOND time in my ConquerClub life, I am receiving specific and clear threats to my life. Threats which, by their nature, I find I must take seriously for my safety, as well as the safety of my wife and my students.
Since ConquerClub, in their infinite incompetence (apparently to include lackattack, though I have no confirmation that he's even been told), is unwilling to take action to work with me on this as well as the fact that this is precisely the same reaction I received from TeamCC the first time this happened (some time ago), I have determined that I have no choice but to go to the authorities. My school district has advised me to quit the site and to proceed through legal channels to have the identity of the individual making those threats to me revealed to law enforcement agencies.
I am therefore taking their advise and, following these postings to make sure that everyone is aware of the site's willingness to turn a blind eye to clear and serious cyber-bullying, I will never return, regardless of the outcome of the legal proceedings. Don't bother PM'ing, as I will not see it.
