I am organizing double elimination tournament for 8 teams of 2 players. The only requirement for the tournament is for a player to have at least 2000 points.

Tournament format:
This tournament format allows for 1 loss. Minimum numbers of games per team is 2, maximum numbers of games per team is 7. Teams will be randomly seeded into the grid.
Games settings
Every game will be played on Random map (apart from Crossword, Circus Maximus and World 2.0 maps). Same map won't be played more then once. Games settings will be: 4 players, Doubles, Sequential, Escalating, Chained.
Vacations, replacements and drop-outs
To make sure that tournament will be completed, any player is allowed 2 breaks of 2 weeks in total between games. Within those 2 weeks of waiting for a player, his partner is responsible for finding a replacement. If replacement won't be provided within those 2 weeks the team will forfeit their games.
Sign up procedures.
The only requirement for the tournament is for a player to have at least 2000 points. But once you sign up, you don't have to drop off the tournament just because your score goes below 2000.

If you are a single player, you can put your name down and start looking for a partner or wait until your partner will confirm his participation. You would have at least 24 hours since your post in the forum to find/confirm a partner. If after 24 hours I will have a pair waiting, then they will take your spot.
