Do you want to quit while you are ahead or will you accept team game challenges from other high ranked players that want a piece of you - on game settings you accept of course? (Don't say you already are because you refused my recent challenge without replying)

With point-matched team games, you will never fall in points as long as your team's strategy and execution are better than your opponents. You could rise even further. I think you would gain a lot of street cred instantly (especially among those who "hate the game, not the player", of which I am one), and it would take quite a long time to fall back down to Brigadier <if it were to occur>, that by the time that happens, you wouldn't even be in the spotlight anymore. You could even continue to employ other, less offensive, harvesting techniques on the side, while accepting challenges, to ensure that you would never drop too far.

Of course you don't owe anybody anything, but the way you got to the top makes a lot of people want a piece of you. Start accepting challenges and much of the negative press will cease.
