Question for an Administrator...

Post by sp00n »

I am currently in a game (number 8295750) and my partner just got kicked inexplicably after 10 rounds... He hadnt done anything in the game to warrant being kicked. Although i now have his spoils, i have effectively lost his re-inforcements and card evey turn. Not to Mention when he got kicked all his territories reverted back to one unit.

I would at least like to know for starters WHY he was kicked... And secondly, why he had to be kicked mid game, hence penalising me, someone who hasnt broken the rules in any way whatsoever, and who has paid money to play on this site.. I know rule breaking is a problem you have to take very seriously, but i didnt even get a message from the admin staff explaining why a 2 player team game i have been in for 10 rounds is now a solo game...

I would very much appreciate some explination, and would humbly suggest making it common practice in future to inform innocent team mates of offending players why they are being penalised.

I could very well be wrong about this, but my understanding is that when that happens, it means the person you were playing with who was kicked was found out as a multi. Hope this helps.

He was probably kicked. potentially for violating the rules of this site. He has received a mail from management stating what he has to do. I suggest you urge him to do so.

If someone gets busted for having multiple accounts or any other reason, is it an immediate IP ban, or are there second chances and/or punishment schemes as well?

Lack seems to beleive in second chances. I have to agree based on the number of current oldtimers who are still active that have been suspended.
It is possible to buy back 1 account, the account the management decree's to be the original. Part of the reason being that if you pay, at least there is a record of your unique identity. After all, you are allowed to play cc, just not with multiple accounts..

Obvioulsy there are exceptions and limits even to lack;s patience. There are some that will never ever be able to return.
