The four group winners advance to the semi-finals. If there is a tie in the knock-out stages, over-time will be used. If a tie after 30 minutes over-time. The match will be replayed.
rules
The game starts with a quad on midfield, each team chooses a map and settings as their midfield map, one team starts on their map in the first half, then the other team's map is played in the second half.
The team that wins the midfield game then passes the ball forward to their attackers. The team will have selected a strategy for playing the ball to the strikers, if they're playing centre, left or right. At the end of the midfield quad game, the player who finishes the game will be the one whose strategy will be used. Now, each team has three maps as their attacking maps, for three possible routes the attackers might take, centre, left flank or right flank.
The strikers play a doubles game against the two defenders on the side they attack. There are four defenders. that each have an area of the field to defende, i.e. left, centre-left, centre-right and right. There are two attackers, who try to play through the defenders' areas. Depending on which direction the ball goes after the midfield map. If the ball goes to the left, then the attackers will play against the left and centre-left defenders, and so on.
If the strikers win, the one of them to have finsihed the doubles game go on to face the goalkeeper. If the defenders win the doubles game, the ball is passed back to midfield, and a quad game is played on that teams midfield map. After the striker faces the goalkeeper the game will restart on the defending team's midfield map.
The game continues like that untill it reaches 45 minutes. Time is calculated as 1 minute per 8 players, i.e. 1 round in a quad game and 4 rounds in singles game equals one minute in match time. Each match consists of two halves of 45 minutes each. Extra time in play-offs will be 2x15mins.
All tactics (i.e. maps and settings and player positions) can be changed at any time, by pm'ing tokle, as long as it's done before the game in question is made. But all players have to be signed up before the tournament starts. In some circumstances I might allow for a new player to be brought in as a reserve, but that player will then not be eligible for a tournament award.
Breaking CC rules at any time during the tournament will lead to a penalty for the afflicted team. A penalty will be played as a 1v1 game by any player on the team, on whichever map they choose, against the opposing team's goalkeeper.
All settings are allowed, except freestyle, manual and speed.
