inb4 natty dread says "We already have this map and it's called Land & Sea."

inb4 manbungalow says "Awesomesauce, add some bonuses and quench it already. Also, I love the graphics."

inb4 someone says "Copyrighted and artistic infringement blahblahblah....unless, of course, you made this map..."

Or High Seas

Yes, it does look great.

Yes, it is copyrighted. I have just emailed the creator asking for permission to use it. I also invited him/her to join the site, play games, and go through the mapmaking process him/herself.

If we receive permission for use, and the creator doesn't want to go through the mapmaking process, does anybody else?

It's a cool map, but it doesn't belong in the drafting room without copyright issues solved. If the dude, for whatever reason, loves Conquerclub and would be delighted to see his map as a playable map... then let me know.

I have received express written permission to use the image as-is. I have requested permission to modify the image (make borders darker, strengthen territory names etc) and have requested a PSD of the image as opposed to a JPG. I'll let you know.

COOL!! Now when you get the final permission, can you send a copy to thenobodies80 so that we know everything is good to go please? This way we will have a record of it on file in case anyone questions it.
