That would work really well actually. THere is a bit of a lack of natural boundrys like rivers and mountains, but the # of countries is really good

It would bee a vast amount of work. Borders need to be hammered out to reasonable ones, continents sized and looked at. Perhaps combining the small ones in the south. But I feel this map could just be 'another map'. You would need to find something that distinguishes itself from the rest of the maps, some sort of interesting or unique feature.
