Inspired by the Mile High topic, it got me thinking about all the places I've played my turns from---and if any were worthwhile, memorable, or strange. After racking my brain, I can't think of many good examples, save maybe a home bathroom. What unusual places have you played CC Turns from? In worship service? In a friend's bed? At a wedding reception? On the lam from the police? --Andy

In the Hong Kongers airport, rushing to the gate. At a Sha Tin restaurant famous for its succulent pigeons. At a military school. Holding my iPod in the air, trying to get a signal. In the elevator, just as the doors close. In a business meeting. In a station of the metro.

i imagine strip club security is pretty quick to interrupt any manual manipulation of handheld equipment!

This sounds more dangerous than texting or talking on the phone, ha.

I played for three days by climbing to the top of a ridge behind a deep woods campsite. Climb to top of ridge to get a signal, play a turn or two, shut off the phone to conserve battery - repeat every 4 to 5 hours.
