So I'm new to this map and I'm in a game. I'm used to the classic Risk maps however this map is pretty confusing...I'm not sure what the objective is as there are different regions...and the random writing at the top just confuses me...

No, no; The Big Lebowsky is in English and Das Schlob sounds German to me. The correct translation is, "The Slob!" Not the Dude.

I don't really have a reason. Just a habit that I took to liking. I guess for future referencing markers most probably. At least to know which came before and after which. IDK.
