switching account/ are you happy with your account

Post by risker17 »

I was just wondering, but if I for some reason was fed up with my account because i had like 300 points. Would it be legitimate for me to stop using my current account and start a new one?

I am not going to do it but i was just wondering...

i could see you maybe having cause to do that. Personally, i'm sitting at above 1300 and i wish i was better still. I want captain, but i'm thouroughly satisfied at the moment.

Yes but I wish I was better
Taking an enemy on the battlefield is like a hawk taking a bird. Though it enters into the midst of a thousand of them, it pays no attention to any bird other than the one it has first marked.

What difference does it make? If someone at 300 points started improving their game, they'd be at 1000 points in no time, because of the number of points they'd win. Why bother making a new account?

I have completed three games and have lost in all three...one due to an alliance between two teams...another due to my ignorance of the map formation...not being aggressive enough in an escalating card game...beyond that I am learning and have been playing the board game since I was a mere 9 years old. I would not change my account due to my inability to improve my point total...however, I do believe that higher ranked players would be more apt not to join games with you...IMO

I've been playing since six..
I still remember me, my nephew, sister, brother in law, friend of theirs, mother + father staying up late one night, at my sisters house, playing risk..
Oh what times!

But back to topic..
100% no!
you might be able to swing one of the mods to change your name, but not start you over :)

thats a big no. getting a new account won't make you a better player, you'll be down below 1000 in no time.
I'd propose a drastic change in your tactics. how bout looking for someone of a higher rank to give you a few lessons, or finding a teammate and playing some doubles or triples matches?

Don't think this could ever be implemented. Personally, I wish I could change my username but it would be just like being a newbie again - nobody would know of you at all

I think Lack will be offering this in the future for a small monetary fee.

I think 25 cents per point would be more 'cutting to the chase.'
