Initially K-Rock got me suspicious by backing up a weird challenge to me from badger1584: K-rock breaking my bonus for me breaking badger1584's. Wouldn't have been SO weird if K-Rock didn't have to come from the northeastern-most part of the map to the southwestern-most. Come to find out they play regularly together. Then when I was clearly in the lead I noticed K-Rock had started his turn and allowed quite a bit of time to elapse. After 14 or so minutes of K-Rock being dormant, Goring started his turn. Goring successfully broke my bonuses, and only 3 minutes after ending his turn, K-Rock finally deployed his troops, got a card, and ended his turn, over twenty minutes after starting it.

This is far from the first time these individuals have been questioned as to their fair play, though in other games they were in association with a player named Coopershawk.

This is a game that's still ongoing. Were you hoping that posting an abuse complaint would change the tactics of three of your remaining four opponents?

This seems a bit like you're trying to use the threat of mod sanctions to bully players in an ongoing game.

Not at all. I am fully expecting to lose the game to ramboseventyone, who has played the game admirably. The others' most recent action is fairly blatant secret diplomacy. If I had no suspicion I wouldn't have had cause to check their previous affiliations. If K-Rock had started his turn, played it, and broken my bonus I would have no complaint. But the fact that he started, waited for so long for Goring to start, and finish, his turn before even his deployment, is strong evidence that behind the scenes conversation and planning, or "diplomacy" was taking place.

K-Rock's initial move against me was questionable, and possibly only poor tactics, but added together I feel the two actions more than substantiate my suspicion.

I have never before made any allegation against a player or group. I hope never to again. I have had more than my share of games turn against me, but all in the FAIR play of the game. I would gladly forfeit this game if it meant that 3 fewer cheaters had a chance to unfairly stack the game in their favor.

It's a six player game, one of which is you, one of which was eliminated at the time of the post, and you're accusing three of the others of secret diplomacy before the game has finished/

I don't like to see people abuse the cheating and abuse forums to intimidate other players, especially when it's as blatant as this- an ongoing game accusing three out of four of your opposing players, and with no real evidence.

No problem- I was clearly a douche- usually I check sources more thoroughly, and I'm kicking myself for not having done so here. I'm usually skeptical of people who post complaints while a game is continuing- often it looks like an attempt to manipulate the game via the mods.

From experience though, the mods won't touch this until the game is finished.

Based upon the evidence in the game in question, and the fact that they all do seem to play quite a few games with each other, I agree with the OPs assessment that this was a case of Secret Diplomacy.
