The Rules
[spoiler]Each team consists of 2 players.
Each team selects 1 home map, their prefered weather, their prefered fortification method and their prefered spoils.
As only 2 games will be active at any one time, freemiums are more than welcome.
Each team have 24hrs from invite being sent to join their game. The first time a player fails to join a game there will be no penalty, if the same player misses another invite, (s)he will forfiet that game.
Please note trench warfare will be used in all games in this tournament, and all deployments will be automatic.Also all games are sequential, with no round limit.[/spoiler]
The Format
[spoiler]There will be 32 Teams, broken up into 8 groups of 4. Each team will play one home and one away game against each opponent in their group.
A win is worth 1 point, a loss 0.
In the case of a 2 way tie, the 2 teams will play a decider on a random map, with random settings.
In the case of a 3 way tie for first, the three teams will participate in a 6p doubles game, with the winner advancing as the group winner and the other teams playing a decider. Both games will be on a random map with random settings.
In the case of a 3 way tie for second, the three teams will participate in a 6p doubles game, on a random map, with random settings.
In the case of a 4 way tie, the teams will be randomly paired up to play a decider, with the winners of the deciders going through.
Round Of 16 and the Round of 8 (Quarter Finals) will be played once all group stages are decided. The winner of group A will play runner up of group B, with Winner of group B playing winner of group A and so on (see graphic). Teams will play one home and one away game, with a decider on a random map with random settings if needed.
Round of 4 (semi-finals) and the final will consist of 2 home games, and 2 away games, with a decider on a random map with random settings, if needed.
If the 3rd and 4th place teams want a play-off then this will be arranged.
Teams will be randomly sorted into groups.
