Hi there this will be my first of a few tournaments following the same format. Hope everyone has fun!
[spoiler=Format]I will be taking 24 recruits and dividing them up into 4 groups of 6. There will be a total of 6 games at once so premium members only please.
Those groups will then play 6 games on 6 maps that begin with "A". The 2 recruits who get the most points in each of the 4 groups will advance to the final.
In the final there will be 6 games on the same maps but all games will be the 8 players who advanced to the finals from stage 1. Most points at the end of the final stage will be the winner.
In the event of a tie there will be a best of 7 heads up match between the recruits with same score to see who advances or is the winner. All 6 "A" maps plus one random will be used.
Settings for all games are Sequential, Automatic, Esculating, Fog, Chained, No Trench
The 6 maps that will be used are: Africa, American Civil War, Arms Race, Age of Realms 2, Alexanders Empire, and Australia. For the 8 player games in the finals Age of Merchants will be used instead of AOR2[/spoiler]
