Knowledge Exchange

Post by Anatolia »

Wouldn't it be great to be able to share unique knowledge of a map in exchange for someone else's unique knowledge of a different map?

I think it's worth a try. Below, post:

1) MAP(s) YOU KNOW REALLY WELL [put favorite settings in brackets]
2) MAP(s) YOU REALLY WANT TO LEARN

If you line up with someone, invite them to a doubles game of your map and theirs.

For me:

1) AoR 2 [Fog/Trench]
Classic [Doubles]

2) Battle for Iraq
Das Schloss
Waterloo
Stalingrad

Happy Sharing!

This is a fantastic idea Anatolia, good thinking.
My game count is a little high after personal Christmas festivities, lol, but I'll be sure to take you up on this at a later date. I've always looked at the A0R maps with a sceptical smile and put it off for another day, haha

Good initiative =D>

Thanks Arama! I figure this could be a nice way to:

a) For high ranks to learn new maps without risking 400 points;
b) A good way to meet doubles partners;
c) Give low ranks an incentive to really learn a map well and trade their knowledge for more knowledge.

We'll see how it goes...

Sounds like a very good idea!

For quadruples:
1) Rail Europe, Escalating, Sunny
Battle for Iraq, Escalating, Sunny
Classic City: Pot Mosbi, Escalating, Sunny
2) Age of Merchants
Poison Rome (I understand how the map works, but never figured out the best strategy)
Lunar War

I can play the maps at 1) also without those settings, but I'll be able to show some magic when we play it escalating sunny, so I thouht I'd add that.
I can provide the rest of the quads team. For the 2) maps I don't care about the number of people or settings, I'm just curious how people play this.

Thank you JBlombier! I edited my original post to include a request for settings as well.
