Choose a home map
[spoiler]Choose a home map from the 64 available maps in Round 1 (Tribes). These 64 maps—and therefore the 64 players—are divided into 8 groups along continental lines.
As you advance, you will continue to be grouped with the other players within your continent, until Round 5 when for the first time there is only one group left. So choose your home map wisely—it dictates all the maps you will play on for the rest of the tourney!
For example, if you pick a tribe in Western Europe, you will continue to fight in Europe until you emerge as the undisputed champion of the continent.
If a tie-breaker is needed, the two tied players play a best-of-three 1v1. The first two games are on the two players’ home maps. If a third game is needed, it is on a random home map from within the same original continental group.[/spoiler]
