20 teams, 38 matches
Each team plays every other team twice - once at home, once away
We will have 2 leagues - an A league and a B league - played over 40 matchdays. The A league will be filled first (unless players request B teams), but there is no difference between the two leagues.
Over the first 19 matchdays, each A will play every other A and each B will play every other B.
Over the next 21 matchdays, each A will play every B and each B will play every A.
Now, in most tourneys of this type on CC, you pick your settings at the start and must use the same settings the whole tourney.
IN THIS TOURNEY, you can change your settings EVERY MATCHDAY - or, if you like you can keep them the same. It's totally up to you.
Before each matchday, I will send out a PM. Each player has 48 hours to submit their settings for the next week's games.
If you do not respond to that PM within 48 hours, your settings will be chosen at random from the available options.
EACH WEEK
- The home team decides:
* The map
* The weather (Fog or No Fog)
* The type of reinforcements (Chained/Adjacent/Unlimited)
* The type of spoils (Escalating/Flat Rate/Nuclear/No Spoils)
- The away team decides:
* The manner of initial deployment (Automatic/Manual)
* Trench/No trench
* Play order (Sequential/Freestyle)
NO MAP OR SETTING IS OFF-LIMITS.
SCORING:
* Away win - 5 points
* Home win - 4 points
* Away draw - 3 points
* Home draw - 2 points
* Away loss - 1 point
* Home loss - 0 point
A match will be declared a draw if it takes longer than 12 rounds to decide.
All games will have a 20 round limit.
After 38 matchdays, the team with the most points will be declared the champion.
If there is a tie, head-to-head record will be used to decide the champion.
If a tiebreaker game is necessary, it will be played with these settings:
- If 2 teams are tied: Random map/Automatic/Nuclear/Chained/Fog/No Trench
- If more than 2 teams are tied: Terminator/Random map/Auto/Nuclear/Chained/Fog/No Trench
Each player will be sent 2 invites for each match. If you miss both invites (unless you contact me to explain why) you will forfeit that match and be replaced with a reserve for all subsequent matches.
