use bots for free slots

not sure if suggested before. Is it possible to invite bots to empty slots of a game to get it filled. Finding games waiting to be filled for months only needing one or two players.
my suggestion is for the game maker to invite bots after a set time

aren't bots only able to play certain maps with certain settings? did you consider that? i play (just went freemium, so PLAYED) mostly polymorphic / random games without spoils... bots can't do that. otherwise, i play doubles / random or bamboo jack / without spoils... and bots can't do that, either... so, right off the bat, i'm seeing an issue with your suggestion. if it can't be done for all types of games, it would seem kind of pointless, right? the bots play a very limited type of game and not on all maps. am i not correct? and don't change the argument to, "well, they should be able to fill those type of games, then." and also, can you imagine the C&A reports based on people losing games, because the bots suck? ha!! i just don't think this is a very good idea...-Jésus noir

p.s.-if they played more maps, more type of maps and were actually competitive, it would be a great idea.

Don't we all lose or get pissed off from players that suck from time to time
I was just wondering if it was a possibility I have been on other games where they used AIs to make up the numbers. Not sure why the bots now only play certain maps and settings.

Points never really bothered me just enjoy playing all be it not as much as I once did. Played way to many speed games where I have lost to noob moves dosent bother me anymore. What one person thinks is a good move there will always be some else think its a poor one.
Anyway hope the coders can do this

Points never really bothered me just enjoy playing all be it not as much as I once did. Played way to many speed games where I have lost to noob moves dosent bother me anymore. What one person thinks is a good move there will always be some else think its a poor one.

so, you really think they are going to code the bots to play all maps, all styles of play and get it done before the site is at 500 total players? this is such a huge undertaking, they would have to actually pay people to do this... good luck with that...-Jésus noir

Currently any game with bots is played for no points... so if they stuck to that model you'd be filling your game quicker but playing it just for fun.

talking points games. yet another issue.. it just isn't a very well thought out suggestion... and i'm not trying to be rude, i promise. i had not even thought about that aspect! i was just thinking about the coding... wow, now i think we should get it done, we could have a conqueror bot within a matter of a few hours!!! that would be EPIC!!!-Jn

if you want to fill a game, search the game finder for players that have played a similar map or settings and invite them to you game. Do so until it is filled. Your game will fill in a few days if you stay consistent with it.

This. Also because of what Jesus said - can you imagine how pissed people would get if they lost a match because a bot did something stupid (which bots always do)?
