RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

[spoiler]Only game types allowed are "Teams" (Polymorphic is not considered a team game)
All games must have automatic initial troop deploy (no manual)
All games must be sequential (no freestyle)
All games must have 24 hour round length (no speed)
All spoils are allowed except zombie spoils
All forts are allowed except "no forts"
There will be no round limits except for Trench games (30 round limit for Trench)
Trench is permitted in a maximum of 50% of home games No limit on the number of trench games
Each map can only be used twice per clan per clan war but can only be used once per game type (dubs/trips/quads)
Beta maps are not allowed
Each clan will pick the map and settings for exactly half of the games
Games will be exchanged in 2 sets
At least half of the quads games will be exchanged in the first set
12 Hour Fog Rule will be in effect
New settings that are implemented after the start of the Cup will be excluded from wars
Players can participate in a maximum of 18 games in total in Round 2
Tie break game is a Triples game, Classic, ns, ch and sunny

PLAYER USAGE/ ELIGIBILITY:

[spoiler]The following rules apply to player eligibility:
This year, there is an amended "cup tied" rule:

If a player plays for a clan in a given round, they are cup-tied for that round and cannot play for another clan in that round
If the old clan of a player loses the round in which the player has played, that player is considered "eliminated" with their old clan and cannot play for another clan for the rest of the tournament
If the old clan of a player wins the last round in which the player has played with them, then they are not considered cup-tied at the conclusion of that war and are free to play with any other clan at the beginning of the next round of the tournament
This would only impact us if one of us had a new player from a clan that played in round 1 and lost.[/spoiler]

Caff, isn't Fallen on this side of the bracket? I wouldn't write them off for dead by saying whoever wins this will get through. I think right now the only clan that has a >50% chance of making the finals is S&M.

Indeed they are, but after their recent performance vs TOFU I think FOED and LHDD could both take them. I probably also have a slight bias as I've always been fans of both the drunks and the dragons.

I would say that LHDD performing at the level they did in the CC6 semi-finals would have edged Fallen at their CC6 finals level, but if Fallen played at their CC5 finals level versus LHDD at CC6 semi-finals level, it would be down to dice.

We have not faced FOED in a full war in my time in TOFU so I have less idea what they are capable of in a large war, although they have given us fits in league.

If we can recapture that CC6 semi-finals/finals form we will be formidable though.

TOFU-FOED is a bit of a pipedream sadly. We gotta beat ATN & S&M, they gotta beat you and Fallen.

I don't think you performed badly against us in CC6. I don't think we were quite at our finals level but not much below it in the Semis. Clans that performed badly lost by much more than you did in CC6 to us.
