my screen has gone grey and it says reset some of the panals

i accidentally clicked on one of the chat type boxes. and it moved it. so i moved it again, and then when i went to my next game the screen went grey and it said try resetting one of the boxes at the bottom...except there aren't any!

i basically cannot use the user interface...

any ideas?
