--------The Tigers needed to win 1 out of 3 games from the worst team in baseball,the White Sox....To make the playoffs...They did, although Friday down 3-0,came back and won in the 8th inning......
-------- Saturday,lost to Chicago...Lost Sunday, should of been Swept by Chicago!!!
-------- Sunday's game... Chicago jumped out to a 5-0 lead...In the bottom of the 9th inning... Trailing 9-5...Tiger's leadoff batter hit a ball deep to the Outfield...The White Sox Outfielder ran a mile , looked like he caught it... Tiger's Batter on Second, called out...Went to replay...The ball hit the White Sox Outfielder's glove ,hit the wall, into the Outfielder's glove...Yet after looking at the replay the Umpire called the Tiger batter out...Next batter hit a single, would of had an RBI, next batter hit into a game ending double play...Tiger Manager charges the Umpire,and is thrown out of the game.... WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING INSTANT REPLAY, IF AN UMPIRE CAN JUST DO WHAT HE WANTS???...Yes,the White Soxes were most likely going to win...But that's not the point...... ConfederateSS.out!(The Blue and Silver Rebellion)...

Why watch baseball?

I can understand this during the regular season, but playoff baseball is pretty intense & fun. It also helps to have the commentators bring some insight.

-------You have to know where you are...It is o.k. to be Charlie Hustle....Go all out....But All Star Games were set up to make money for retired old ball players, that lets say were not so good...Those who didn't make lots,and lots of money... Basically, pre-1980s A.D...Now rookies get like 70,000 dollars, when they come up and play for the big team...
-------- What Rose did to that catcher in that all star game, injuring, him, ending his career, making him a crippleish... Wasn't called for...He should of stayed at 3rd...Or let up when coming home...If he was tagged out...So what...It was an All Star Game, for fun, for retired ballplayers...

Why watch baseball?

Playoffs have begun and I do not plan to watch any games, maybe a World Series game, maybe Yankees vs. Dodgers, just to see.

But overall, I agree with Jonesy; why watch baseball?

I did not expect Dodgers to win so easily against the Yankees, 4 games to 1.
