Alliances
I know that diplomacy and alliances are part of the rules, but I feel that a lot of gamers in here would like to start a game where they can be secure in the fact that no one in there game will suggest an alliance. Can whomever this concerns, make a checkbox for "No alliance games" in the gamefinder section? Please
First, I don`t like escalating games, I don`t sit in front of my computer long enough for that to be an advantage. Second, I know there are a lot of other gamers who feel the same as I do and would honor the type of game setting being played. I don`t cheat and most other players in this forum don`t cheat. Are you thinking of Freestyle games?
I understand where ur coming from. I prefer only using alliances or ceasefires for the sole purpose of dethroning the strongest player. Its a way to balance the game out. Not making them in the first round in order to become dominant.
The only reason I can see this option being ineffective though is, what would stop people from joining these games with a buddy with full intention of making an alliance either to piss you off or just get points.
