I agree, DoW has the best intro moves, although that Fallout one was good (though I didn't get it until the end).

Some guy I know linked me to the opening videos for the Fallout series of games, so I watched them. I was very impressed and also very sad that I don't have any of those games.

Oh well, I have S.T.A.L.K.E.R., and I gather that that's remotely similiar to Fallout, and that's good enough for me.

I thought the DoW intro sucked. It was well-made, but there was nothing memorable at all about it.

The Fallout 2 intro was good, though, and since we're talking classic games, how about this one?

So what? I wasn't born when Metal was invented and I still listen to it, the same goes for a lot of authors, to name a few: Dickens, Kipling, Poe, Frisch, Defoe, Shelley, Tolkien, Verne. I wasn't born when they wrote their books and poems either and I still read them. Why should it be different for a computer game?

Rome Total War: Barbarian Invasion

Even more amazing when you consider the intro video is basically just the same as the game in terms of graphics and how the game plays.

Pretty good considering the game came out back in '98.

Lost Odyssey, the silly hat binary wars! I feel the cutscene is actually pretty good, but just plain made hilarious with the commentary, so I'll post it instead:

A few of the cut-scene video's these guys have made have made me want to play one of the games. Or not :P

That they do.
