Hey guys. First foray into running a tourney, but I've played quite a few so I think I have my head wrapped around the process.
Here are the settings of the tournament.
Assassin
Sequential
Unlimited
Flat Rate
Fog of War ON.
Premium IS required. If a player holds up the start of the the tournament for more than 48 hours, they will be dropped.
Here are the rules of the tournament.
**64 players RANDOMLY split up into groups of four. Five games will be played in each group. (SEE BELOW FOR MAP DETAILS)
**A player gains one point for winning a game.
**A player loses a point under two conditions:
1. He or she is assassinated.
2. He or she assassinates someone else's target. This means that the "assassinated" person is off the hook.
**As each round finishes, I will tally the points for each group. The person with the most points advances to the next round.
IN CASE OF TIES: The player with the least amount of lost points will proceed. That is to say a person who won a single game will advance over a player who won two games but was assassinated from another. If the tie is not broken, the players will play a NON-FOG game on Doodle Earth. If the tie is between three or more people, the game type will still be Assassin.
MAPS ARE AS FOLLOWS Round 1 Selection - European:

I think I'll have a pop at this one. Looks like it could be a lot of fun, but also much wailing and gnashing of teeth as somebody ends the wrong targets existence without actually knowing they are doing it. Great!!!! My kind of fun.

Wish I could claim credit for the idea. I saw a post in the announcement thread about assassin fog games. I've been eyeballing a tournament for a while but didn't have a decent, practical idea. the post just triggered a bunch of small ideas which led to this.
Hopefully the interest is here for it. I can rework the brackets/grouping to accommodate a smaller group if need be, but 64 would be best (mostly because I already have everything laid out for it )
EDIT: Oh, and in case nobody saw (somehow) I've added everybody up to here so far.
