6 player speed games

Hello good people!
Seems to me that I haven't been on in forever. Well I have recently noticed a flaw in the speed games. What happened was I was playing a six player game and I had a set to turn in, so immediately after I took someone out and had another set, etc. The timer made it so I couldn't finish my turn therefore loosing! =[ Is there anyway to get around this other than not playing speed games at all?

You get an extra 2 and a half minutes when you eliminate someone.
