Now we just need an Avs fan on here and things would really get dicey!

Wings fan. Kinda sucks living in the south because I can't ever see them play. I did see them play Atlanta a couple years back.

And Versus doesn't air enough games, IMO.

I think there's only three.
By the way, as a Minnesotan (state of Hockey) I'd have to say my favorite team is definatly the Wild.
They've sold out the past 350+ games.

Portland WinterHawks, and them only because I haven't found a team from Washington I really like yet.

Why are the Canadiens also called the Habs? I've been wondering for a while now.

They've sold out every home game since they came into the league
. Great race going on right now between Colorado, Calgary, Vancouver and of course the Wild. It'll be interesting to see how it pans out.

It's short for
Les Habitants , which is French.
"Habitants is the name used to refer to both the French settlers and the inhabitants of French origin who farmed the land along the two shores of the St. Lawrence Gulf and River in what is the present-day Province of Quebec in Canada. The term was used by the inhabitants themselves and the other classes of French Canadian society from the 17th century up until the early 20th century when the usage of the word declined in favor of the more modern agriculteur (farmer) or producteur agricole (agricultural producer). The habitants live on the seigneur's property paying him with food as rent."

Thanks Serbia.
Too bad the Habs are pasting my B's tonight 6-1 after two periods. They've been the Bruin's kryptonite this season.

You're welcome!
Speaking of high scoring games, Jersey is up on Philly 7-3 with 9:00 to play in the third... wow!

I'm a Wings fan.
I'm watching the end of the Wings / Kings game now. Wings up 3-0. It's funny, when they put in the salary cap, everyone thought that the Wings would take a tumble, but it seems that they really do have the best GM in the league.
