So me and the scarecrow will merge and organise together to bring you this league. so that we can both make sure it gets done
2008 AFL Premiership Season
This will require a commitment from april to spetember from each player.
You will only require one slot so a freemium player can enter
There will be one game every week and we will follow the 2008 premiership fixture foundhere
in the Australian football League there are 16 teams
so we require 14 more players to partake in this league (please choose a team from list below)
Each game will be 1v1 and player on the home teams map (home team to be decided by 2008 fixture, link above)
therefore each player needs to choose a home setting
any map/setting is allowed. it is your home field you can do what you want with it.
Scoring
Win = 4 points
Draw = 2 points (any game going beyond 15 rounds)
Loss = 0 points
Finals are final 8. and will follow the same finals as the afl
the highest ranked side (following top 8 gets the home game)
except grand final which is neutral settings
the top 4 of the final 8 all have a double chance.
Week 1
* 1st Qualifying Final: 1st seed hosts 4th seed
* 2nd Qualifying Final: 2nd seed hosts 3rd seed
* 1st Elimination Final: 5th seed hosts 8th seed
* 2nd Elimination Final: 6th seed hosts 7th seed
The 8 finalists are split into two groups for the opening week of the Finals Series. The top four teams play the two Qualifying Finals. The winners get a bye through to Week Three of the tournament, while the losers get home games in Week Two. The bottom four teams play the two Elimination Finals, where the winners advance to Week Two away games and the losers' seasons are over. Drawn games continue into extra time until a winner is decided, with the exception of the Grand Final which is replayed in the following week.

Starting with this week, all matches are knockout rounds.
* 1st Semifinal: Loser of 1st QF hosts winner of 1st EF
* 2nd Semifinal: Loser of 2nd QF hosts winner of 2nd EF

* 1st Preliminary Final: Winner of 1st QF hosts winner of 2nd SF
* 2nd Preliminary Final: Winner of 2nd QF hosts winner of 1st SF

* Grand Final: Winners of 2 PFs meet
