That's not what she said when I operated her system if you catch my drift.

I'd love to see debian or something show up at my school's network. But the IT guys are probably too dumb to know about "Wine" to even consider it.
Well, we're also a school that has a course higher than AP Java -- a course so unusual it isn't even AP. So I don't know how much that reflects the rest of the country...
Zx Spectrum 48K Ram Booster on its backside, and a reel to reel tape player to load these Games. I find It a bit difficult to Play RT though, everyone else is really slow...

I have one Mac G4 with 10.4, a Mac G3 with something before Leopard, but still OSX, and one Windows ME
Needless to say, I use the G4 more often than anything else by a long shot.

Well, when the time comes, I'll refuse to give up XP for one simple reason: Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri.
I don't know enough about Vista to make a decision on whether or not I'll get it (and now, I'm not taking any of your words for it) but one things for certain I'll always have a back-up copy of XP for SMAC.

Is that course IB or something?...
No, it just... is. hehe
It's taught in C, and it's called "Systems Level Programming"

Yeh just wondering, cause I've heard "IB credits" being tossed around with "AP credits" in some of the schools I'm looking at so I could only assume they were in some divine league I could never hope to even hear about.
All I know is I can remember learning AP .... and, well, let's just say I am old enough to remember when the apple 2000 was new, and "PC" wasn't even in our vernacular...
So I am surprised it is still around (in any form!)

Blimey I nearly fell off my seat. Surely that isn't somebody making an entirely unsubstantiated claim that Vista is terrible. An internet first I believe...
The question I have for you is why? Real justified reasons why Vista is terrible, not just because you don't understand it.
EDIT: Oh and Vista is really slow isn't an acceptable reason. If your machine is under or minimum specced for the OS then thats your look out.
If you have anything to do with the development or distrubution of internet delivered patches for MMOs then granted the code access security is a bit of a bitch but then you could choose to actually work with Microsoft on it...

Interesting... we start out with NetLogo and Scheme.
But is your Java course AP?
