Looking for 24 movies in each genre, total of 120 players.
Okay-I'm going to try and find what movie is considered the best movie on Conquer Club. Some of us like Comedies, some love Romances. Many think that a Sci-fi is the only thing to see. Others still are always the first to catch that new Action movie and a lot of us aren't afraid to cry over a good Drama. And who doesn't love a bone shaking Horror? But which is the best? I'm asking for everyone to give me their favorite film of a genre and represent it to the end where it will be crowned "Overall Best Movie of CC 2008". The winner of each genre will hold the title of "Best of Genre". You can only pick one genre and movie so be sure to pick wisely. You can pick any movie you like, not just recent movies.
I want freemiums and premiums alike to be able to play so only one game slot needs to be open for the duration of your participation.
How the tournament will be played:
Every genre will be playing internally until the final winner of each genre plays each other to see which movie and genre come out on top.
It will be as follows:
Round I:
4 six player games in each genre, top 4 players of ea. to move forward
Settings: Map: Great Lakes, Seq., Esq., Adj., Sunny
Round II:
4 four player games in each genre, top 2 players of ea. to move forward
Settings: Map: Austrailia , Seq., Esq., Chained, Foggy
Round III:
2 four player games in each genre, top 2 of players ea. to move forward
Settings: Map: USA, Seq., Flat, Adj., Sunny
Round IV:
1 four player game, top 2 players to move forward
Settings: Map: NYC, Flat, Chained, Foggy
Round V:
This round will consist of a 1-on-1 best of 5 games, with a deciding game going before those. There will first be a game on the classic map with the following settings: Standard, Seq., Flat, Chained, Foggy
The winner of this game is the first to decide what the map & settings of the next game will be. After that, the settings will be chosen by the other player. In the end, the first picker will have chosen the map and settings for 3 out of the 5 games, allowing for a greater chance you'll win.
Final Round:
Winner of each genre plays in a final game to win the "Overall" title.
The settings will be:
Standard, Seq., Escalating Spoils, Chained, Sunny
The map for the final round will be voted on by (hopefully) everyone who reads the thread and decides to play. I will put up a selection of maps. If you have any comments please PM or post in the thread. I will respond in the thread to your question. Since there is no shortage of movies out there, I'm looking for A LOT of players! No duplicates though so read the list to see if your movie is already up before posting. Thanx!

Note: While I love Independent and Foreign films, the genres are too general by themselves. If you like a film that happens to be either of them, you will put it in one of the 6 specific genres below. Romances will be put into either Drama or Comedy.
