I'm thinking about doing this special type of mafia: every-one has a night action, but they do not know their role. they just Pm me a name, and their night action happens to that person.
I'm thinking of about 15 players; this is not the signup thread, I'll make that later.

I highly discourage this, by the way. As you can see through a quick read-through of the thread, the game did not function well.
But also note that in that game no one knew anything about the mechanics, and they certainly didn't know there was a way to find out what people are, so people just gave up because of it. This time round things might work out because everyone who signs up for it will know it advance what they are getting into.

Yeah, that totally didn't work the way I planned. I found the role list (since I didn't remember how I did role learning) and I made it so limited in chance it wasn't funny. I probably should've come up with something better, but as I recall, I mad it in a rush, so I didn't consider that at all.
I think with more thought and the foresight of knowing what will happen, it could work. Even the last handful of posts are basically "How we could make this better."
