SHOULD LACK FIRE TWILL?

Post by suggs »

Its seems the only fair solution.
Well, the sensible solution would be to re-instate Wicked, but folks round here have too much false pride to reverse decisions.
So firing Twill in the interests of Community Harmony seems the way forward.
Any thoughts on his leaving present?

I find it hard to rail against twill given he's so rarely seen, and hasn't had a history of making controversial decisions.

That said, boo, hiss, down with that sort of thing.

Why is it people would want to see anyone fired?

It's an owner's job to give and to take away. It's not a customer decision.

Complaints are an appropriate way to register disapproval. Suggested solutions are appropriate, but should not include urged firings, as that is not in customer hands.

Plus, it's just ugly.

The way this will be dealt with is standard is that all the threads will be merged and they'll slowly hope the issue will die down, except in this case rather than the banning of norse which just annoyed the entire chatter box community this new measureship had affected the general chat crew, the map foundry and the live chat too. Hopefully the decision will be overturned soon... The community has spoken!!!

It's also the owner's responsibility to keep his PAYING customers happy and that ain't happening here.

I am ashamed to have given my money to a company that would treat their employees so badly and unfairly. :(

This whole situation, sounds like personalities have stomped all over someone who does a great job, and that is a crying shame.
I cannot count how many times wicked has found and busted multis in live chat. She is very much a front line service Mod, and as a result is in the spotlight more then others.
Perhaps this front line exposure has at times put her in positions that made her an easy target to the Trolls , cheats, and general asses, that are, and always will be a part of the CC community, and as a result allowed this situation to escalate.
It is a sad thing to see her being judged by so few people, and not being recognized for all the time, effort and good work she has done here. (Which btw does not get the same kind of exposer, that the negative stuff does.)
Wicked is the first one on the scene and is not afraid to call it as it is. So as a result ruffles feathers from time to time.

I was once told : "That if the people you have power over all like you, that you are doing your job wrong." ( Congratulations wicked, you must have been doing a better job then anyone realized, Sorry it resulted in this type of short sited decision.)
I feel this is a great loss to the community as a whole, and I fear that all the little things she has been doing, will get left undone.
I do not know the whole story, but I do know that wicked has done way more good for CC, then bad.
Shame on you Admins, for tossing aside a great asset. Shame [-X

Any thoughts on his leaving present?

That's not an uneducated mob mentality coming to quick emotional decisions with pieces of information from a one sided source...
