Comments: In a 3 player game these 2 totally worked together as they know each other offline, and did this completely unannounced. Having just signed up they have just read the rules and chose to completely disobey them with no respect. Furthermore, they chose to make a joke out of this in the chat room. This has severely wrecked the game experience for myself and I will not be pleased unless their accounts are deleted and my score reversed. Thank you.

CC does not delete games unless there was a fault on its part (ie server crash). Your score will not be changed either, for the same reason. Honestly, if you think you are better than your current score, this will help you. You will be able to get more points in subsequent games and will wind up in the same spot anyway.

If it's a multi and they're busted one of the accounts will be able to remain active. If they're conducting secret diplomacy they might be blocked, but that rarely happens after one game. CC will definitely not delete that game and refund you your points though, that only happens when the site's having severe issues.

this policy should be changed in my opinion: cheaters should not have an impact on the game, they should be removed completely

further, if you read the game chat, it is quite clear what they have done

in fact, i am going to report to other accounts which are involved


and on the points issue, i play to have a high % of games won, not for points

But the thing is, we would then have to go back and delete every game in which the player was involved. This would throw everyone's points and records out of whack. To be completely honest, it is rare to encounter a cheater, so if you lose one extra game, how much will that really affect your winning percentage in the long run?

I am not the one who decides the merits of a cheating accusation. I am the person who keeps this forum under control. I am just telling you what the official stance is. But if we do it for you, then everyone will ask for the same treatment.

well it's easy to do if you just delete the game from the history and have a code that will automatically adjust all individual player histories... very simple to do too

Looking at the game log, ricodynamite and Cpl. Chaos seems to have taken Europe and North America then basically killing of conquersmart. Albeit the latter went for South America and Oceania, it seems so and so this game. Especially in light of the game chat. Had ricodynamite and Cpl. Chaos been located far apart, dunno if I would have filed this. It’s worth to be noted though I think. But, the last comment about their alliance being public, well, I don't see that in the game chat. Looks pretty obvious to me that these two friends teamed up on the third guy.

Perhaps a regular check into these two guys could also be in order. This, if for nothing else, as they seem to be playing/missing turns in tandem:

BTW: That's not how it works at all, when games are deleted, it is as if the game never happened (but sometimes it will throw the site into a vortex, and f*ck up speed games)

I'm playing him right now and it's weird...it's a freestyle game, and he takes forever to take his turn. It took him like 2 minutes to take one spot that only had 1 guy on it. But no matter how long I wait to start my turn, whether it's a minute or 5 as soon as I start so does he. I can't even place my guys before he starts his turn. It's instant, but then he takes forever.

Looking at the game chat from Game 3104542, it looks as though they did had an 'understanding' or appear to have some sort of alliance in that game, which there were no announcements made. However, it is still not concrete enough to mark a block. So far, they have only played two games together. It is very possible, they do know each other in real life and this report is duly noted for future reference.
