Doubles Advice Needed

Can anyone give me advice on the rules for Doubles when it comes to which person gets credit for controling a territory? I have most of a territory under my control but my doubles partner has an army on one country. He can't move that one army. Should I attack him or is there another way for me to get control of the territory? I appreciate your assistance.

To get the bonus you (specifically, not as part of a team) must control the whole territory, so yes you must attack your teammate. However, if it is an army bigger than 1, your teammate can fortify the extra troops to you to make takeover easier. Only on their go though obviously enough.
