Indian Subcontinent Map?

How about a map of India? I thought of this yesterday since there wasn't a map of the Indian Subcontinent.
Here's my suggestion: (I made this in Paint)

Im also thinking of adding Sri Lanka.

Hey,

There is a historical version in production here. See how close the ideas are and if they aren't maybe you should give it a go.

I don't think it would be bad to have multiple India maps, so long as they have some significant differences. If you're going to push ahead with this let me know and I'll move the thread over to drafts.

The thing is that I'm not the greatest mapmaker so I'll be needing the help of someone who makes maps here and and XML writer.

compared to most of the first drafts by new mapmakers, this one is pretty good. It's as good as most of my first drafts - I say figure out the gameplay, and the graphics can come later assuming the map will work.

Seriously though, this is excellent for a first draft. Unfortunately, it's probably not worth pursuing because of oaktown's map (though he hasn't updated that map in a loooong time, so maybe you'll be able to work on this without competition after all).

Maybe you could do a different region? Central Asia? The Horn of Africa?

Actually, I think I'm going to make a thread for geographical regions that haven't been made right now.

hey, Tamil guy here! and i would love to see this in play, but i would add pakistan since it was part of india pre-britain
