How are the points that are won or lost calculated?

Sometimews in games im being blown out but then when its over i only lose like 7 points, then in one close game i pulled through and won and got like 50 points.

How does this make sense, it doesn't, and i no that "The points to be awarded is calculated as (loser's score / winner's score) * 20, up to a maximum of 100 points from each opponent." which can be found on the instruction page score, rankin, and medals

Everyone starts with 1000 points, and after every game you lose, points are deducted according to the formula you found. The game's winner gets all the loser's points.

each player's score is the current amount of points they have in their user profile or on the scoreboard.

Fair enough, but you also got fairly testy/edging nasty at those who were attempting to point out that you already had the answer for the q you asked. It took a few posts for anyone to realize you meant to ask something else.

I know I'm less willing to help someone who gets nasty if I answer the question they ask, because I'm not a perfect mindreader to know which question they meant to ask.
