NORTH HAVERHILL, N.H. — Three people who plotted the murder of a developmentally disabled Wal-Mart cashier for making romantic advances on a co-worker say they're guilty.
Eighteen-year-old Amber Talbot, 24-year-old Timothy Smith and 19-year-old Anthony Howe pleaded guilty in a New Hampshire court Monday for the 2008 slaying of Christopher Gray. Police say Gray was stabbed and strangled as part of a murder plot hatched after Talbot told her boyfriend Gray had been hitting on her at the store in Woodsville.
The boyfriend, 19-year-old Michael Robie, is charged with conspiracy to commit murder and is awaiting trial.
Under the pleas, Talbot would serve 23 to 50 years in prison and Smith and Howe both 40 to life.
Gray's family members say the three deserve life prison terms.
This is the kinda shit that cable was meant for. With digital TV capabilities, we could have the Amber Talbot, Timothy Smith, Anthony Howe and Michael Robie Daily Strangulation/Stabbing(with a 1/2" blade) Channel. One every four days. Give em a little time to heal up between stabbings. Hell, I'd buy it
Maybe her getting out of prison as a munched-up, 40 year old bull-dyke is pretty good though. At least she wont be bothered by any guys finding her attractive in there.

Maybe she is rolling for the prosecution? Also, even if she initiated the idea, if she didn't do the physical act of murdering, her term would be less.
I wonder if there's more to it....do you think the "romantic advances" were maybe a little more physical and forced than the article would have you believe? I mean, they decided to kill the guy over it. You'd think it was over something a little more serious than just asking the chick out...

A couple of physical advances. The guy doesn't seem to get the hint and keeps going. You feel cornered because it puts you in the place of having to report the handicapped guy and be told you're reading too much into it? I could see why she'd go to her boyfriend.

Still it is a little much.
"Still it is a little much" - are you referring to the killing?
I thought everyone who works at Wal-Mart was retarded...
