2017-05-15 04:11:25 - PunkRocker: spoils are like cards in the board game.
2017-05-15 04:12:02 - PunkRocker: when you have a match it will give you the option to turn them at the begining of your turn :)
2017-05-15 04:12:57 - Hooch: PR is helpful.
2017-05-15 04:13:36 - PunkRocker: i try. I volunteer as a super guide to help people get accustomed to the site and game rules :)

2017-05-15 04:16:24 - andrewjohnporter: I had a greta position on the last turn. I had 3 in dakar while the blue only had 2 in madrid and in one turn it's gone to this. From reading the rules I guess he had mixed colours and got ten extra troops with his 3/4 normal.
2017-05-15 04:16:32 - andrewjohnporter: pretty much out of the game now
2017-05-15 04:16:45 - Bentelbow: also helps if you read the game log to see what people have gotten up to in between your turns, andrew
2017-05-15 04:17:06 - PunkRocker: yes, flat rate means that the different combinations of sets are worth different amounts.
2017-05-15 04:17:29 - Bentelbow: then you would see the rainbow colored set blue cashed in
2017-05-15 04:17:30 - PunkRocker: great advice from bent
2017-05-15 04:18:59 - andrewjohnporter: ah, let me find the log and read it now
2017-05-15 04:19:16 - PunkRocker: yes click the tab above
2017-05-15 04:19:35 - PunkRocker: it will tell you all that has happened
2017-05-15 04:20:36 - andrewjohnporter: ok, just read that. thanks for pointing out where that was - was playing on my iphone and it didnt show much
2017-05-15 04:20:54 - andrewjohnporter: how do you know which colours your spoils will be?
2017-05-15 04:21:50 - andrewjohnporter: is it the colour of the opponent who owns it?
2017-05-15 04:22:01 - PunkRocker: they should be listed just below the names and above this chat window, depending on the device you are on
2017-05-15 04:23:10 - PunkRocker: no, the color represents the "suit" of the "card"
2017-05-15 04:24:17 - PunkRocker: as in three red cards will get you 4 bonus troops, green will give you six, and three blues would
2017-05-15 04:24:21 - PunkRocker: be 8
2017-05-15 04:24:54 - PunkRocker: a red a blue and a green is the best. or "rainbow"
2017-05-15 04:25:15 - PunkRocker: and it gives you ten
2017-05-15 04:25:31 - PunkRocker: that is only in "flat rate games"
2017-05-15 04:29:40 - PunkRocker: be sure to click end turn when you are done so that you get your 4th spoil.
2017-05-15 04:37:29 - andrewjohnporter: i can see what colours my spoils are but how can i see what colours each spoil is so i know which territory to attack to get a different colour?
2017-05-15 04:38:16 - andrewjohnporter: Also, there is a clock for the game which counts down from 24hrs which shows a different time to the one in this window?
2017-05-15 04:38:26 - andrewjohnporter: sorry for all the newbie questions!
2017-05-15 04:57:55 - andrewjohnporter: damn, ran out of time and forgot to attack and get a spoil - game over for me now
2017-05-16 20:36:12 - PunkRocker: i told ya... be sure to end turn....
2017-05-18 15:11:29 - andrewjohnporter: This game is done. Red won this about three rounds ago
2017-05-18 15:42:57 - andrewjohnporter: hmm, the logs don't say what happened there
2017-05-19 21:25:35 - andrewjohnporter: wonder if blue will ever attack red!
2017-05-29 20:50:39 - andrewjohnporter: feel like you guys may well have it in for me - or perhaps are on the same side/same person
