2009-05-09 11:28:08 - x CHANDMAN x: Good game Cyan this will be over soon, I think orange/grey where better teammates for you than pink was.
2009-05-09 21:04:12 - squishyg: Thanks, gg to you too (although it isn't over yet!). pink had some stuff going on earlier, but I forgive him since he's my brother.
2009-05-09 23:49:11 - x CHANDMAN x: Oh believe me its over haha.
2009-05-10 01:36:15 - Pitts: Sorry orange/gray, but we don't think you should be rewarded for doing nothing. We were hoping to play a legit game, but if anyone is going to win other than us it will be cyan.
2009-05-10 01:36:56 - Pitts: Cyan at least did his fair share of fighting.
2009-05-10 06:27:37 - Salubri: Doing nothing. I had done more to break the asia and european bonuses from both aglenist and squishy than your whole team combined. Look back at the logs before you comment. The only "doing nothing" I've done is give your team the critical advantage to
2009-05-10 06:27:46 - Salubri: win in this end game
2009-05-10 11:36:33 - Pitts: Okay
2009-05-10 13:31:48 - x CHANDMAN x: Orange maybe you should look back at the logs. I'm the one who broke Red in Europe, and yes you might have helped twice with Cyan. I was the one from that point on trying to keep cyan honest. But all you and Grey did was build in the South against me.
2009-05-10 13:35:56 - x CHANDMAN x: But Orange you are the one who said, you were gonna make a deal with Cyan to continue not to do anything against them. So in the end its gonna bite you in the but. Because we aren't going to attack Cyan!
2009-05-10 13:43:30 - Salubri: Just because I wan't taking cyan's territories doesn't mean I wasn't attacking him. It means the dice wasn't with me. And fine, don't attack squishy all you want, I'd rather lose to him than to you guys if that wasn't evident enough
2009-05-10 13:46:33 - Salubri: At least he doesn't try being all macchiavellian, you guys try all these mind games and weird ways to forge "alliances" like "I will reduce your troops to force you to reduce your troops even more by asking yo to attack someone I want you to attack" What.
2009-05-10 13:48:09 - Salubri: So you want my partner to attack cyan AFTER you decimate all the armies he could have used to perform the exact attack you want him to do? Brilliant. That just wouldn't rub anyone the wrong way at all.
2009-05-10 13:50:22 - Salubri: Things like that just make us go "huh?". So yeah, we'll try to finish you off and see if we can survive squishy despite whatever you guys do, he deserves to win in anycase surviving this long alone.
2009-05-10 14:33:54 - x CHANDMAN x: Cya Orange! Your welcome Cyan, even though you con't to attack us lol. Guess you don't want our help as much as we could help you. Good luck!
2009-05-10 14:36:24 - mattastrophe: guys, this was a good game. Lots of good motivated self-interest.
2009-05-10 14:36:46 - x CHANDMAN x: Just and FYI, this isn't personal just tired of the way this one is being played. So I still plan on giving everyone here the highest of ratings. Definitely an interesting game, just got OLD. Good luck with the finish.
2009-05-10 14:37:13 - x CHANDMAN x: I agree with you silver!
2009-05-10 14:37:20 - mattastrophe: All, I'll say is that it's tough being the weakest link. I did break cyan once or twice when I thought it was desperate. but not suicidally.
2009-05-10 14:37:57 - mattastrophe: I wouldn't mind a rematch, too. Even with all of our girly arguing :)
2009-05-10 14:38:12 - x CHANDMAN x: Cyan, forget about your truce please and just take what is yours THE GAME lol, please your killing me haha.
2009-05-10 14:38:28 - mattastrophe: no truces, though ;) They never work out for me
2009-05-10 14:39:29 - mattastrophe: although, I'm not opposed to friendships :-D
2009-05-10 15:57:55 - squishyg: Agreed. This has been an enjoyable, well played game.
2009-05-10 15:58:54 - squishyg: Agreed in terms of the charming sentiments, not in terms of breaking my original orange/silver truce ^_^
2009-05-10 20:30:50 - x CHANDMAN x: Cyan what is the purpose of this truce, I'm just curious??? We are trying to help you win quicker so please help all of us by getting this over with a little quicker.
2009-05-10 20:35:01 - x CHANDMAN x: There is no such thing of Truce's in RISK, someone ALWAYS gets screwed. And the person asking for the Truce is usually the one that benefits from it. Just remember that Cyan, its great advice. And its free, just consider it a parting gift.
2009-05-10 21:20:23 - squishyg: I just wanted to be clear that I wasn't going back on anything I orignally agreed to, which I think we all agree would be sportwomanship. I meant no disrespect to you or your teammate, who are doing a fine job.
2009-05-10 21:23:03 - squishyg: And I completely agree that often the person who asks for the truce is the one who benefits from it. In this case, however, I do appear to be the beneficiary, for which I am grateful.
2009-05-10 21:23:58 - squishyg: Incidentally though, I do believe that diplomacy is a well honored tradition in the original RISK. Not sure if it's in the official rules, but I can't recall ever playing a game of RISK where diplomacy wasn't used.
2009-05-10 21:38:00 - x CHANDMAN x: Well I guess we play RISK differently, I see Risk a different way. How can you make a truce with someone that is trying to conquer you in the long run. It just seems ironic to me.
2009-05-10 21:39:50 - x CHANDMAN x: LOL and I also get a chuckle in the irony of the usage of "sportswomanship" with the act of teaming up to attack someone 3 on 2. Hahaha but as long as its for fair play I'm all for it.
2009-05-10 23:47:16 - squishyg: In all fairness though, you must admit that for 20 rounds it was 4 against 1.
2009-05-11 01:43:29 - x CHANDMAN x: I'm not saying that I'm just saying it sounds funny hearing someone say Sportsmanship when alliances are used to gang up on someone, you must admit that to be a chuckle!
2009-05-11 01:44:26 - x CHANDMAN x: And you also have to admit when it was 4 on 1, you where the strongest. You definitely can't say me and blue are the threat now lol.
2009-05-11 06:20:20 - Salubri: x CHANDMAN x: Just and FYI, this isn't personal just tired of the way this one is being played. So I still plan on giving everyone here the highest of ratings. Definitely an interesting game, just got OLD. Good luck with the finish. <<<
2009-05-11 06:23:09 - Salubri: That's true for me too. I don't dislike you guys, just the way this game turned out into. It just comes to a point where enough is enough, let's throw down the gauntlet and what happens will happen. But o god am I sick of world 2.0 now :p
2009-05-11 15:42:35 - squishyg: gg Pitts, it was a blast playing with you.
2009-05-11 16:29:56 - mattastrophe: lol, orange. yeah, I liked 2.0 for a while but starting to like one of the WWII boards better.
2009-05-11 17:25:02 - squishyg: 2.1 is still my favorite! I love how much the game can change from round to round.
2009-05-12 02:43:22 - PirateSamurai45: i resent the earlier comment that i was a bad teammate. this whole game i have been obi wan to squishyg's luke skywalker.
2009-05-12 02:45:45 - PirateSamurai45: wait wait, i can go nerdier. i have been Aslan to squishyg's Lucy Pevensie!
2009-05-12 02:48:19 - PirateSamurai45: and my strategy of losing in round 8 has worked like gangbusters.
2009-05-12 03:17:02 - REDSKULL: KRAHHHH I AM REDSKULL
2009-05-12 13:44:06 - squishyg: You've actually been more like the hump to my Quasimodo...
2009-05-12 13:54:26 - squishyg: gg Chandman, gg Salubri!
2009-05-12 13:55:22 - squishyg: Sorry matt, didn't see your last guy in Java.
2009-05-12 14:10:14 - Salubri: We still have a chance
2009-05-12 15:14:50 - squishyg: Hee hee :-)
2009-05-12 18:33:22 - squishyg: gg matt, gg all!
