I came here to give my opinion as a neutral person so this place would see that not the whole CC is against what's going on in here, that it would get a bit balanced because everybody else seem to be come here flaming. And now I get a lecture how to post and where and what. Didn't ask that :( Though I was about to ask more about Foundry after oaktown's very nice post and friendly post.

come on mate. am i really such an ogre? do i scare you that much? i haven't said anything wrong about you. you said you're affraid you'll get flamed and i simply said no matter how stupid your idea or anybody else's idea is it won't be flamed if it fits the guidelines. as for the guidelines look in the stickies that are around you'll see explanations on how maps progress and how to post a map and stuff like that.

again i wasn't talking about you or lecturing you or flaming you or doing anything bad to you, i was merely using a quote from your post as a starting base to explain the principles of how a map idea should be posted.

Well i look Title of these Topic, and i must say that i dont se a problem.
If people interesting have map is create in CC,he will very fast find Map Foundry, but if people not interesting proces of creating map,he will not going here.
99% of people just want to play maps and 1% want to know map proces(even les). These is a fact and we can not change these.

I didn't read all the way through this thread, just the first page. I don't think your problem is with the maps, or the gimmicks. The problem MIGHT be fairly simple.
Example: I see the map for USApocalypse, looks cool. I also see a chart for "radiation affects" I'm guessing it has to do with armies gained/lost but thats only a guess. Theres nothing to explain how it works, so I'll never play that one because the only way I'll find out is trial and error which is a sure fire loose don't you think? I think what you need is some sort of index that explains the "extras" on a map. and if there is one somewhere, make it easier to find, cause I sure can't find one.
Just a thought.

This is a very valid point - I think a help text for each map would be great...
